Et moi qui n’aime pas la guimauve, je me suis surprise Ă me resservir tant celle faite par Lobna Liverneaux est fondante et parfumĂ©e Ă souhait !
What an exceptional experience! The food, the ambiance, the creativity, the passion, and the amount of thought, planning, and heart that goes into Chef Lobna’s cuisine have left us with an experience and memories that will last a lifetime. After a very warm welcome into Chef Lobna’s home, we were offered custom cocktails served by a well dressed young man. While sipping a wonderful, unique champagne concoction from a martini glass, Nikita, the passionate and talented artist, introduced us to the world behind her abstract art. For the most inspirational painting, Chef Lobna wrote a gripping poem that set the tone for the Emotionelle night. The food and the service were what one would expect to receive from only the finest Michelin star restaurant. Each course was inspired by one of Nikita’s paintings, and each inspirational dish was accompanied by a poem written from the depths of Chef Lobna’s intermost expressions. Every human sensation was tapped into… Sight as we viewed the art and watched the meal being prepared, sound as we listened to Chef Lobna’s poems read aloud, smell as the food was being prepared in the very room where we were served, feeling on many levels, and taste that you have to experience for yourself to understand. The menu prepared for us took us on a sensory trip around the world… Spices and cuisine from France, India, Asia, the US, and some things uniquely Lobna. The fois gras was by far the best we have ever tasted. We were informed that Chef Lobna will be using her fois gras in an international competition (We have no doubt she’ll win).
